Another two small pieces, they were part of A3211 until a small accident happened. You decide which side of the specimen is better; dark green lustrous velvety blobs on one side and lighter green very lustrous spherical sprays of malachite on the opposite side. The size of the smaller piece is 1x.5x.5. Ex Michael Newnham collection.

They don't come much better than this GREAT specimen of huge dark black-greenish lustrous actinolite crystal with colourful blue-gray-whitish calcite matrix. The enormous size of the crystals from this unique Queensland locality makes them possibly the largest actinolite crystals in the world.
