An excellent display specimen from this prolific Western Australian location; velvety dark green hemispheres of malachite after azurite fully covering the front of the specimen with a number of small halve spheres scattered on the other site over the dark chocolate coloured base rock. The transparent to translucent opal coating on two sides of the chocolate brown ironstone matrix is showing a colourful display, a variation of milky, blue, and green shades of the precious opal from Queensland. Three sides have been sawn to remove the excess matrix.
