Ranger No. 3 Pit, Ranger Mine, Jabiru, Kakadu National Park, Northern Territory, Australia.
Saleeite is found on fractures and segregations of massive quartz in the upper level of the No.3 pit. This specimen is a classic example; bright lemon-yellow to yellow-green thin tabular crystals up to 5 mm, scattered in and on the surface of the many small cavities and contrasting nicely with brown massive quartz. Collected by staff of the Museum Victoria in July 1998. See article in Australian Journal of Mineralogy 5(1), 19-24.
