Mineral Specimen No W1204 - Calcite on Arsenopyrite
Location:
Trepca complex, trepca Valley, Kosovska Mitrovica, Kosovo.
A mass of iridescent arsenopyrite crystals and ome sphalerite, at white calcite crystals covering the top of the specimen. There is a visible fracture line through the calcite, but the specimen is very solid indeed. Ex. Alan Woolfstencroft collection.
