Ranger No. 3 Pit, Jabiru, 250 km East of Darwin, Northern Territory, Australia.
Saleeite is found on fractures and segregations of massive quartz in the upper level of the No.3 pit. This specimen is a nice example; bright lemon-yellow to yellow-green thin tabular crystals up to 5 mm, scattered on the surface and contrasting nicely with brown massive quartz. Collected by staff of the Museum Victoria in July 1998.
