How to Order

When you see something you like, click the trolley icon to add the item to your basket. The item will be marked as RESERVED so no-one else can purchase the unique specimen while you are still shopping.

PLEASE NOTE: an item placed in your cart will remain reserved for 15 MINUTES ONLY, if after 15 minutes you have not placed your order the item will revert to available.

When you are satisfied with your order, proceed to the checkout by clicking ‘Checkout’. Follow the checkout process, and when you have finished we'll give you a receipt number. We'll also email a receipt to you.

Payment Method

We have made payment easy and convenient. We have provided you several different methods to pay for your order:

Payment by Credit Card:

Use your credit card online. By far the most convenient method of payment, we will accept your American Express, Visa and MasterCard payments through our secure payment system. Please refer to the section headed ‘Security’ for more details.

Direct Deposit:

If you choose to pay by transferring the amount directly into our bank account, we will email you with our account details.

Phone or Fax:

If you would prefer to complete your purchase offline, we are more than ready to help you.

All prices are in US Dollars. If you are an Australian customer, the cost of the order will be converted to Australian Dollars at the exchange rate of the day, and GST will be added to your order.

Delivery Method

If an item(s) is available, it will be shipped within 2 days of receiving your payment. If for some reason the item is not available, you will be notified by email.

We take the greatest care packing our minerals. If a specimen is for sale on this website, we believe we can pack it and safely ship it to you.

If you have any special instructions regarding shipping, please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate you.

International Orders

We deliver to all countries. You can choose to have your parcel delivered by regular airmail or surface mail (if available). You can also request any other preferred shipping method.

Australian Orders

We ship via Australia Post to most parts of Australia and use road transport for heavy parcels. You can also request any other preferred shipping method.

Shipping Charges

All shipping charges and insurance (if required) will be added to your order at cost.

Please be aware that your local customs office MAY apply additional charges / duties to your goods on arrival into your country. These charges are the responsibility of the purchaser.

Security

We take the security of our customers' personal details very seriously. Proven technology and physical security measures are used to ensure the highest level of protection. Any information that you send to us is encoded with Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption technology, ensuring that prying eyes can’t decode your personal data when it travels from your computer to ours. You can tell your browser is in secure mode in the checkout by looking for the padlock icon in the bottom corner of your browser window.

Insurance

Insurance is optional and at the expense of the purchaser. If required it will be added to your order at cost. CK Minerals assumes no responsibility for uninsured orders which are damaged or lost in transit.
